Happy Christmas 2012

Firstly, I hope you all had a super Christmas, mine was a relaxing affair spent with family and was a chance to catch up with old friends.  Christmas has become a really exciting time for my family as our son has reached the age where his head is full of the magic of Christmas and thoughts of Father Christmas, his workshop of elves and Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer! It is really hard not to get caught up too in the stories and imagination of children around this time.

It was especially great to visit an old friend over the Christmas break who manages a fabulous pub near Grassington, North Yorkshire. If you want somewhere very special to stay in beautiful surroundings or you fancy a great meal, the perfect pint and a roaring log fire then consider The Fountaine Inn I promise you won't be disappointed.

The build up to Christmas seems to have gone on for ever this year, in the shops and with parties and events starting in November! I hope that you have enjoyed the Festivities and have enough energy left for New Year's Eve?  This New Year, back by popular demand and brought to you by Do Events - The Love Handles will be playing at The White Brasserie's - King's Head, Teddington and we hope that you can make it along to join in the fun.

If you got engaged this Christmas we offer you many Congratulations!  Do Events would love to help you realise your dream wedding and are offering all those who became engaged over the 2012 Festive season an amazing 25% discount on any of our Wedding packages. We offer services to suit every budget from the full Wedding Consultancy Service to help with finding your perfect venue, to on the day help. Our personal service will not only save you time, and money taking the stress and strain out of the process, leaving you the time to think about the bigger picture and most importantly letting you enjoy your special day.

If you need some initial ideas and inspiration then there is a Wedding Show coming up soon that is not to be missed, hosted by Ice the Cake at The Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury on Sunday 13 January 2013.

We were really pleased to get some fantastic local publicity, appearing in the Winter Edition of The Lensbury News.  We not only appeared on the front page - in the form of our spooky Halloween children's costumes, but also inside! Take a look at Page 5 and read all about our Quiz Night and a date for the April event will be announced soon.

If you wish to appear in the New Year Edition of Do Weekly, please contact Caroline Doughty Smith.

From all the team at Do Events Limited, we wish you a very 'Happy New Year' and look forward to updating you again in 2013!
