A Teddington Wedding

Over Easter I was lucky enough to be asked to plan my first Indian Wedding.  The Bride had close family links to Teddington Cricket Club, a beautiful setting near to my home in the stunning setting of Bushy Park.  This is where she chose to celebrate her Wedding Day.
Bride Goes in to Bat
On Good Friday the Bride and Groom hosted a quintessentially English Cricket match for over 100 local and international friends at Teddington Cricket Club.  The rain held off and a super afternoon of cricket was enjoyed by pros and novices alike.  The Bride even went in to bat!

BBQ Supper
The Cricket Match was followed by a BBQ Supper.

The Wedding took place in one of the biggest marquees ever to be sited at Teddington Cricket Club.

The Marquee took 3 days to build and was 38m x 12m.

On Easter Saturday, the guests re grouped after the fun of Friday's Cricket Match and arrived to celebrate the Hindu Blessing once again in the beautiful setting of Bushy Park.

Bridal Car
Hindu Ceremony

Over 160 guests witnessed a colourful traditional Hindu Ceremony, followed by the most delicious Indian cuisine.

Light Up Bar

The Bride wanted to go back to the 80s for her Wedding Reception. Guests enjoyed a fabulous set of songs from Duran Duran, Wham and Spandau Ballet.....

....dancing the night away to the fantastic MIB Rocks Band.
